They inspect agroservices to avoid price speculation prior to planting

World news

Looking ahead to the planting season in the country, the Government has deployed personnel from the Consumer Ombudsman’s Office to verify the different agroservices located in San Vicente and thus avoid price speculation and unjustified increases.

«Our teams have been deployed precisely to the city of San Vicente, where there is important agricultural activity. We know that this month of May it begins to be activated and based on this we are carrying out the verifications,” said the president of the Ombudsman’s Office, Ricardo Salazar.

The objective is to guarantee that both farmers and final consumers pay a fair price, without excesses, and thus protect the pockets of the Salvadoran population, while also guaranteeing food security in the country.
