Today, Plenković breaks the minorities and forms the majority? SDP gave up on DP: “There is no sense”

World news

TECHNICAL Prime Minister Andrej Plenković could fully agree on the key outlines of the future ruling majority today. Let us remind you that last Friday at an informal meeting with the leadership of the Homeland Movement in a cafe near Vukovar, he reached an agreement in principle on the future parliamentary majority, and today he has another crucial meeting, namely with minority representatives.

Namely, since the Homeland Movement did not give up its demand that the SDSS should not be in the new parliamentary majority, Plenković apparently renounced cooperation with Milorad Pupovac’s party in order to form a majority with the Homeland Movement, without whose representatives he can hardly secure the necessary 76 hands in the assembly.

According to the current plan, Plenković’s majority would include deputies elected from the HDZ list (61), 13 DP deputies, Vesna Vučemilović, who resigned from all positions in the Croatian Sovereignists last week, and five minorities without three SDSS deputies – And.

However, since the minority MPs said after the election that eight of them will act as a single, indivisible bloc in the parliament, it seems that Plenković will have to convince the majority of the minority MPs at the meeting today to, at least formally, agree to break up the bloc and enter the parliamentary majority without the SDSS- And.
