The so-called Tskhinvali court sentenced two Georgian citizens to prison as a preventive measure. “Echo Kavkaza” reports about this.
Detained are Levan Petriashvili and Archil Basanidze – they were transferred from Tskhinvali detention center to prison.
Levan Petriashvili lives in Ergneti. He was kidnapped by the representatives of the de facto government of Tskhinvali on May 15. And Archil Basanidze – on May 16.
Information about the detention of Georgian citizens and illegal actions against them was given to the European Union monitoring mission and the co-chairs of the Geneva discussions.
