UPEA joins the sports activities for the “Day of the Challenge”

El Alto, May 31.- Teachers and students from the 37 careers and nine areas of the Public University of El Alto (UPEA) participated this Wednesday in “Challenge Day” promoting sports practice in their different disciplines.

“With these types of activities, university youth are present. We want to thank the authorities (Rector Condori and Vice Rector Chambi) for promoting sports practice”, said Juan Carlos Arispe, Trainer of the Directorate of Social Interaction, Student Welfare, Sports and Culture (DISBEDC).

The UPEA continues to encourage sports practice as a habit for good health

Sports, recreational and traditional activities prevailed this Wednesday morning in the central patio of the UPEA in Villa Esperanza (District 5) there were soccer, fitness, volleyball, basketball, martial arts, dance, traditional games, aerobics, zumba, chess and others.

The Rector, Dr. Carlos Condori, in telephone contact, assured that for the “Day of the Challenge”, the UPEA will continue to encourage sport as a habit for good health and comprehensive training. In addition, he called on the citizens of Alto to go out this day to the streets and squares to practice some physical activity.
