Gas prices in the Dutch TTF hub in July and August contracts fell on Wednesday around 12:00 p.m. 17.18 in the range from 5 to 5.17 percent.
July contracts were priced at €36.77/MWh on Wednesday afternoon, down 5%, while August contracts were down 5.17% to €37.08/MWh.
The prices of contracts for September were also lower (by 4.67%); they were valued at EUR 38.68 per MWh.
On Wednesday, around 9.03, July contracts were priced at EUR 36.30 per MWh, and August contracts at EUR 36.70 per MWh.
On the day of Russia’s attack on Ukraine, February 24, 2022, gas prices on the TTF exceeded EUR 128 per MWh. At its peak, in August 2022, gas prices reached EUR 350 per MWh.
