You can only tap your head, said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki about public finances.
Morawiecki accused that during the rule of PO-PSL, local investments had to wait for many years. In his opinion, investments from the state budget were not available to small poviats and communes, because the then authorities did not know how to govern and manage.

The Prime Minister also referred to allegations of hiding part of the funds outside the budget.
“Don’t listen to this nonsense that something is being hidden. Eurostat, financial markets wouldn’t let you hide even a zloty, nothing is hidden. All this is called the public finance sector – and this is the budget, and this is the National Health Fund, and this is the Social Insurance Fund, and this is the Covid Fund, which we have established to save millions of jobs. The Prime Minister also stated that the predecessors also said that “there is no money and there will be no money”.

He also called on local government officials, regardless of whether they are “from this or that group”, what political colors some of them represent, because some represent their own committees, to look “very honestly, reliably and reliably at expenses, once at the entire state budget, at the entire sector public finances”.
– In free Poland, you remember the 1990s – closed workplaces, in your towns, you also remember broken windows in workplaces. The first wave of unemployment in Balcerowicz, the second wave, then the third wave of unemployment under Tusk. Year 2013 – 2 million 400 thousand people without work, 2 million people pushed abroad to emigrate, and another 2 million on junk contracts for 3, for 4, for 5 zlotys per hour. It’s not that long ago. What was the difference between that time and this time, precisely in the answer to the question – who is a good host? Morawiecki said. He added that “all this can be demonstrated with hard mathematics.”
– Where do eighty billion a year for social policy come from, where do several dozen billion a year from the state budget for roads and infrastructure that we spend, where do we spend another tens of billions of zlotys extra for the Polish Army, for the army to defend us, our security, and another fifty or so billions of zlotys for this tax cut. As they say: and it goes from one pocket to another. No, I say it clearly. Let some of the economists who sympathize with the opposition, and there are many, try to question, I encourage you, more than fifty billion in tax breaks given to citizens

There is no Poland A, B or C
– For us, for me, Poland is one. There is no Poland A, Poland B, Poland C. And we redirected this huge stream of money taken from swindlers and fraudsters, criminals and mafias to you, to communes and poviats

The prime minister stressed that There are already 25,000 boards presenting investments co-financed from the state budget all over Poland, and 7,000 more are being prepared.
– More than 30,000 investments – and those that are registered there, because in fact there are more – they would not all be there – said Morawiecki.
As he said, “behind each of these white and red boards there is a human story, human emotions, desires”.
– There is a human dream, the safety of a child who walks to school on the sidewalk, a bicycle path that improves health and allows you to spend your free time pleasantly. A renovated, modern school, a nursery, a kindergarten and so on, enumerated the head of the government.
– And for such desires it is worth living, it is worth enduring all these calumnies, lies that fall. And it is worth continuing to fight against those who robbed Poland, against criminals, swindlers and also against those who contributed to this robbing of Poland, stressed the Prime Minister.
PIS: PLN 30 billion for local governments
The Prime Minister also stated that EU funds flow into Poland in a “wide stream” from another perspective.
“There is no threat, nothing to worry about,” he said. He added that KPO projects are being implemented with pre-financing, as promised. In this context, he pointed out that under the rule of PO, EU funds did not reach everyone, especially small communes and poviats.
Morawiecki said that the policy of the PiS government “is a policy of justice in every corner” of the country. At the same time, he assured that if PiS won the autumn parliamentary elections, it would continue.
– It is my great commitment, if we are able to continue our rule after October, if this is the verdict of the voters, we will continue our great programs of reconstruction of local Poland, he announced.
– Simple procedures, fair mechanisms, money for everyone, this is our program in short, this investment program with the Polish flag. For these investments to create new prospects, for hope for Poland, which is catching up with the West, to grow in us, solidify in us, today I want to present the next installment of our great program of Polish Strategic Investments. He added that the results of the recruitment for the road program will also be announced.
– The modernization of local, commune and poviat roads is so important from the perspective of the inhabitants – he said.
The head of the government also asked local government officials to forgive “mistakes and mistakes that happened” and to see the real reality in terms of local investments.

As he added, the next recruitment in the Polish Strategic Investments program is the largest so far, so that local government officials, in consultation with residents, can implement local goals.
