Do you have pot lids left at home? You can use them perfectly in the garden and at home Cuisine

What if we could give lids a second life? Surely you have at least one at home that no longer fits any of your pots. Use it to make a clock or shield for children. Old lids can also be used in your garden. How to help nature and save your dishes?

Shelves are absolutely necessary in the kitchen, but it often happens that they cause more problems than benefits, mainly due to their shape and difficult storage. If you have more lids at home than necessary, or are among those planning a “general cleaning” project in the near future, you may want to consider creative uses for them outside of the kitchen.

Children’s toy

One of the most interesting ways you can use lids is to turn them into a children’s toy. Larger lids can easily be transformed into a shield. Just remove their handle and attach it back so it faces the inside of the lid.

Then paint the lid with a color that resembles your child’s favorite superhero or noble knight. This modified lid will provide hours of fun as a shield that can easily be held from the inside.

Feeder

Another great idea is to use the lids as bird feeders. You can use a lid without a steam hole for this purpose. Use chains or strong rope to hang the bag from a branch in your garden. This simple piece will allow the birds a safe place to eat and rest.

Decoration

The pouch can also be used as a decorative element. If you have a lid that is interesting in its appearance or has a unique color, consider hanging it on the wall as a work of art. You can hang it on its own or combine it with other found objects to create an original gallery wall.

Shelves offer many possibilities for creative use in and outside the home. Whether you decide to turn lids into shields, bird feeders, decorative elements or hanging bathrooms, you can be sure that these common kitchen items will find a new and useful life. A creative approach to recycling can be not only fun, but also good for the environment by reducing waste and promoting a more sustainable lifestyle.
