A weapon in the fight against pests

Oxygen is a very effective agent against aphids and mealybugs, which damage plants and reduce their yield. It is enough to mix hydrogen peroxide with water in a ratio of 1:5 and then apply the solution to the affected leaves from both sides using a sprayer. In this way, you can easily and safely protect your plants from pests without having to resort to chemical insecticides.

Removal of unwanted weeds

If you are dealing with fast-growing weeds such as goat’s-foot yarrow, creeping sedge, or sedge, hydrogen peroxide may be the right choice for their eradication. Therefore, spray the undiluted disinfectant on all the plants you want to get rid of. You will see that the weeds have absolutely no chance against it!

Protection of plants from diseases

The disinfecting properties of hydrogen peroxide can help prevent the spread of mold and fungal diseases that can really plague any gardener. Mix a liter of cold boiled water with 30 ml of oxygen and spray the resulting solution on all sides of the plant. You can also proceed as part of prevention. You apply the spray regularly once every 10 days or after rain.

Improving soil quality

You can replace classic fertilizers with a peroxide solution, which stimulates plant growth and disinfects the soil from possible rotting on the root system. Pour 20 ml of hydrogen peroxide into one liter of water and mix carefully. Then fertilize the plants as usual. In addition, you will also get rid of soil pests such as mosquito larvae and worms.

Acceleration of seed germination

Hydrogen peroxide can also be a useful agent to speed up the process of seed germination. Its disinfectant properties will remove potentially harmful microorganisms, giving them a higher chance of successful germination and subsequent rooting.

Just soak the seeds for 30 minutes before planting in a solution of peroxide, which you get from one teaspoon of oxygen and a cup of water. After the elapsed time, rinse the seeds with clean water and dry them.
