Stating that Masood Zikria was detained as soon as he got off the plane at Dadwin Airport on December 4, Saymaz pointed out that there was an arrest warrant for him in his country for “attempted murder, membership in a criminal organization and drug trafficking”.
Saymaz lost that there were allegations that Zikria came to Turkey on a fishing boat from Malaysia in December 2021. Saymaz stated that Zikria applied for temporary residence in Esenyurt on October 19, 2022 and was given a residence permit until November 1, 2023, and continued with the following information:
“He bought a house in Istanbul for 420,000 dollars and applied for Turkish citizenship. He founded two companies named Orion Gayrimenkul and M and M Enterprise. He entered the construction business in Beşiktaş. “On the one hand, he was supposedly doing business with Dubai.”
Stating that Zikria was detained in a drug raid and that he was intermediary in the watch trade of foreigners, Saymaz said, “Zikria is also accused of planning the unsuccessful assassination attempt on rival gang leader İbrahim Hamze in 2021.”
