9 movies, 3 of which are local, will be released in movie theaters this week.

The movie “Stuntman” starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt will meet the audience. The new film by David Leitch, who directed the films “John Wick”, “Deadpool 2” and “Bullet Train”, tells the story of Colt Seavers, who returns to stunt work and at the same time sets out to search for the missing star. In the movie, Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt are accompanied by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, Stephanie Hsu and Teresa Palmer.
Released under the direction of Luca Guadagnino, “Competition” focuses on the story of a young woman who starts her coaching career after having to quit tennis and finds herself in a love triangle in the process. In the film starring Zendaya, winner of two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award, the young actress is accompanied by Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist.
The plot of the movie “Witch”, adapted from Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar’s novel of the same name, revolves around the events that took place during the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, while trying to solve the mystery behind the witch rumors about Naşit Nefi Efendi, to whom a young widow was forced to marry, and the mansion where she lived. Furkan Andıç, Buse Meral, Çağdaş Onur Öztürk, Süreyya Kilimci, Elif Ürse, Manolya Maya, Hüseyin Soysalan and Nur Sürer star in the production directed by Erman Bostan.
Another action movie of the week, “Boy Kills World”, will bring the story of a deaf and mute boy with a vivid imagination to the big screen. Moritz Mohr is the director of the film, a co-production between the USA, Germany and South Africa, starring Bill Skarsgard, Famke Janssen and Jessica Rothe.
The movie “Black Tea” tells the story of a young woman who, after saying “no” on her wedding day, leaves Ivory Coast and starts a new life in Guangzhou, China. The French-Luxembourg-Taiwan co-production film, starring Nina Melo, Han Chang and Wu Ke-Xi, was directed by Abderrahmane Sissako.
“Purge”, a co-production between the USA and Italy, directed by Michael Mohan, tells the story of an American nun who is invited to a glamorous convent in Italy and is warmly welcomed there, and soon realizes that this perfect place harbors some dark and frightening secrets.
Şiar Zaim’s film “Katala – Game Night” is about the struggle of four popular young women, members of the university’s cheerleading team preparing for competitions, against a serial killer who haunts them at the lake house where they go to spend the weekend.
“Zah-Har – The Jinn People”, directed by Battal Karslıoğlu, revolves around the nightmare of a humble young man and the unreal events he experiences.
The only animated movie of the week, “The Adventures of Little Don Quixote”, directed by Gonzalo Gutierrez, tells the story of Alfonso Quixote’s struggle to save his hometown La Mancha from evil triplets by taking his friends Pancho and Victoria with him.
