The Israeli military is using drones broadcasting the cries of women and babies for help to lure and shoot Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, a new tactic of psychological torture of the population of the besieged Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing genocide.

According to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, residents of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip confirmed hearing women screaming and babies crying late at night on Sunday and Monday, and Israeli quadcopter drones then shooting at anyone who came out to check.

These tactics also reportedly included broadcasting the sounds of gunfire, explosions, movement of military equipment and songs in Arabic and Hebrew.

According to one of the camp residents, a young man who wished to remain anonymous for his safety: “We were sitting at night when we heard the voices of girls and women shouting: “Come, help me, I’m wounded!” We went out to find out what was happening. No women were found, but we were directly attacked by a quadcopter drone.”

He added that “I ran inside and two people right in front of me were seriously injured. Due to the ongoing shooting, we were unable to help them, so we called an ambulance and they came to transport them. Many residents heard the sounds and responded to help.”

The report also quotes a 60-year-old woman who heard gunfire and women and children screaming. “The sound lasted for about 10 to 15 minutes, but none of us went outside because it was very late and I knew it was recordings from airplanes,” she said.
