Destruction of the Nebo-U radar in the Bryansk region – how this will help the Ukrainian Armed Forces – expert – video

The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the Russian Nebo-U radar - an expert assessed the damage caused to the occupiers War in Ukraine news

Now the Russians are helping the Yemeni Houthis destroy Internet cables in the deep sea. They disguise sabotage ships as fishing ships, says the SBU reserve major general.

The Nebo-U radar station destroyed in the Bryansk region was actually an analogue of an AWACS (long-range radar reconnaissance system) for aircraft, which provided them with data for the successful bombing of Ukrainian cities. It made it possible to control the sky over 700 km of Ukrainian territory, and its destruction will reduce pressure on the Ukrainian Armed Forces and civilian Ukrainians. About this in an interview Focus said public figure, major general of the SBU reserve, national security expert Viktor Yagun.

According to him, Russia will now be more timidly forced to take its planes into the air and now they are at greater risk of being shot down. The occupiers will have to bring shorter-range radars to the border, but this is also risky, because they can be found and destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using drones or missiles.

“Let’s hope that the Russian air strikes on Ukraine will not be so intense, and first of all this concerns Kharkov and the Sumy region,” says Yagun. “And this is also a kind of preparation for the appearance of F-16s at the front.”

Such unexpected attacks on important radar stations and other military installations in the Russian rear are a kind of indicator of asymmetrical methods of warfare. The Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have the moral right to use “meat assaults”, as the Russians do.

Yagun notes that the Russian Federation is actively cooperating with Iranian proxy forces in the form of the Yemeni Houthis and helping them destroy underwater Internet cables that connect the United States and Europe. To do this, the Russians use vessels disguised as fishing vessels.

“Such fishing trawlers are equipped with special hooks supposedly for catching nets, but in fact these hooks are used to break or damage cables on the seabed,” says Yagun. “One such ship was detained and everything was documented accordingly.”

In today’s digital world, interruption of Internet communications is very dangerous, so NATO is now forced to specially train detachments in the North Sea that will monitor the places where such cables are laid. In addition, civilized countries are making efforts to duplicate the necessary communications infrastructure in space orbit, the expert notes.

Let us remind you that on the night of April 17, as a result of a strike by the Defense Forces on the airfield in Dzhankoy could have been destroyed several launchers (PU) S-400 and S-300 and radar station (RLS) S-400
