On August 28, another explosion was heard in the temporarily occupied Energodar, a drone hit the building of an improvised “barracks” of the OMON “Akhmat-1” unit of the Russian Guard, subordinate to Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense.
The operation was carried out by a local resistance movement coordinated by the GUR.
After the occupation of the city, the Kadyrovites seized and converted for their needs the building at 46 Stroiteley Street, where there used to be a branch of one of the Ukrainian banks, the department notes.
The explosion occurred at 09:50, as a result, the personnel of the invaders and cars parked in the yard suffered, writes the GUR.
Also, a fire started in the room, fire brigades and ambulances arrived there, the department notes.
Information on the number of killed and wounded Kadyrovites is being specified.
There are no victims or injured among civilians, the GUR draws attention.
“After a series of explosions, the occupiers urgently evacuated the local military-civilian administration. Energodar is currently undergoing checks and access to the Internet is limited,” the department concludes.
In the video, the drone flies towards the building, and as it approaches the first floors, the picture disappears.
