The capital’s law enforcement officers received 5,387 requests from the TCC regarding the establishment of the place of stay and delivery of persons for drawing up administrative protocols against them.

The Kyiv police received more than 5 thousand requests from territorial centers of recruitment and social support (TCC and SP) to search for citizens liable for military service.

This was reported by the Department of Preventive Activities of the GUNP in Kiev in response to a request from NV. It is noted that as of April 1, the capital’s law enforcement officers received 5,387 requests from the TCC to establish the place of stay and delivery of persons for drawing up administrative protocols against them.

“For evasion of military service, 4,955 people must be located and taken to the TCCSP. Currently, 1,416 people have been located and delivered to the TCCSP for the compilation of administrative materials,” the response to the request says.

Search for draft evaders: the situation in other areas

Since the beginning of 2024, in the Lviv region, about 2,146 people have not appeared at recruitment centers, although they were sent a summons. It is noted that during the specified time, 1,226 draft dodgers were found and taken to the TCC.

In the Volyn region, the TCC and SP put about 8 thousand mobilization evaders on the wanted list. They were entered into the electronic register of persons liable for military service “Obereg” as wanted because they did not appear at the TCC when called or ignored the summons.

In the Chernivtsi region, more than 5 thousand men were put on the wanted list for failure to appear at the TCC and SP. The head of the public relations service of the Chernivtsi OTC and joint venture, Major Tatyana Gaydashchuk, spoke about this.

At the same time, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko said that there are hundreds of thousands of citizens in the police databases who are probably evading mobilization. He noted that the police begin to look for people who evade mobilization after receiving a summons only on the basis of a written request from the TCC.
