The singer and blogger released the song “And I kept crying.”
The famous Ukrainian singer DOROFEEVA and blogger Misha Lebiga presented a joint track “And I kept crying.” The stars presented their hit during a stream on Twitch to raise funds for the military and victims of the attack on Chernigov on April 17.
As for the song, it was written by several famous performers, in particular DOROFEEVA and Lebiga themselves, as well as Misha Katsurin and producer Ivan Klimenko. “And I kept crying” is a romantic and ironic track that became the leader of streaming platforms in just one night.
The singer admitted that the idea for the track appeared suddenly. The performers recorded the song separately, each with their own part, but when the composition was completed, it turned out to be a real hit:
Around the end of January I returned to this idea and started thinking about what this song could be. When I asked Misha if we were doing it, he was very surprised that it was not a joke. We wrote the song with our main composition of authors. And Misha finished his part in the studio – this is his improvisation. In general, everything happened very easily. It happens when a song appears instantly, based on sensations. This song is exactly like that, there is some kind of magic in it.
In the video, the actress wore a sophisticated look – a sparkly minidress, a latex red suit and a blue slip dress. But the blogger was in his usual role: black glasses and black clothes. According to Lebiga, he enjoyed filming the video and collaborating with DOROFEEVA and would like to repeat this experience.
The stars’ stream broke records for the Ukrainian-language video broadcast platform. The performers managed to collect 5.4 million donations. In total, the stream was watched by 57 thousand viewers. DOROFEEVA and Lebig each sent 100 thousand hryvnia for the collection.
