In the latest edition of “Who knows something like that?” Kai Pflaume announced a “Let’s Dance” duel at the beginning of the show. Victoria Swarovski and Daniel Hartwich were guests. The presenter played with Bernhard Hoëcker and Hartwich together with Elton. “It’s nice that you have time for us at all in what is certainly an exciting, tiring, grueling ‘Let’s Dance’ time,” said Pflaume, who is leading the show.

With a view to her participation in the ARD show, he joked: “That could definitely be discussed thematically again in the next few weeks when you’re in the studio together again. Depending on how it turns out.” Swarovski immediately pointed out a point in the direction of her colleague: “Yes, of course. I hope I win because I know that if Daniel wins, I’ll be hearing about it for the rest of the season.” In a conversation with Hartwich, it turned out that his appearance on the quiz show had something special.

“Is this perhaps the first time you’ve ever been a guest somewhere?” Plum asked him. The 45-year-old stated that such an appearance does not happen that often. The reason: “To be honest, you have to give people a break sometimes. When they see me in other shows, I always think to myself: ‘Oh God, poor people.’ But now I’ve sorted things out a bit and have time.” At the end of the show, Swarovski was left behind.

Kai Pflaume’s joke doesn’t go down well with every team

Kai Pflaume first introduced the categories. There is 500 euros for each correct answer, and this time both teams had an audience joker. Team Elton was able to score points in the first question, which was about nutrition. “You can always say that on your first visit to the quiz show you answered the first question correctly,” said Pflaume. Hartwich replied: “Basically, things can only get worse from now on.”

Afterwards it was the turn of Victoria Swarovski and Bernhard Hoëcker. The moderator wanted a beauty question. So they tried “Clever!”. Plum wanted to know:

“How can dirty chrome strips be gently cleaned?”

  • A: Steel sponge and nail polish remover
  • B: Aluminum foil and rubbing alcohol
  • C: Pumice stone and vinegar

Pflaume joked: “As we all know, all roads lead to chrome in the end.”

This play on words didn’t go unnoticed by the opposing team either. Elton said to Hartwich at that moment: “You still have to get used to it. It’s going to be really bad.” Swarovski and Bernhard Hoëcker chose the correct answer B and won their first 500 euros. However, the two were left behind in the grand finale. “Daniel Hartwich and Elton have 2,000 euros in their account. Victoria Swarovski and Bernhard have won 1,000 euros,” summarized Pflaume.

Victoria Swarovski and Bernhard Hoëcker no longer have a chance

The category for the master question came from the area of sports. The question was:

“Where does the term ‘Powderman’s Grave’ play a role?”

  • A: 400 meter hurdles
  • B: Road cycling
  • C: Springreiten

Pflaume then emphasized with a view to the celebrity guests: “Of course we’ll see them both again on ‘Let’s Dance’. But now it’s about the decision. And of course a little bit about how things are going in terms of moderation for the two of them.”

Swarovski and Hoëcker bet all the money they earned on the question. Hartwich and Elton, who were able to answer more questions correctly anyway, decided on 500 euros. Both teams chose answer C. Elton stated: “That’s good, we won.” It also dawned on Swarovski that they couldn’t do anything anymore. “That’s really bad,” she remarked. Her co-host Hartwich and Elton ended up winning 2,500 euros for the audience.

“Let’s Dance” presenter counters plum saying

At the end, Kai Pflaume teased about the outcome of the game: “I’ll put it this way, Victoria: Have fun tomorrow night at ‘Let’s Dance’.” The 30-year-old didn’t want to leave it like that. “Why me? Have fun, Daniel with me on ‘Let’s Dance’,” she countered. But Hartwich also upped the ante: “I’m looking forward to the show even more now.”

Kai Pflaume finally asked Hartwich: “If the program doesn’t even say ‘Who knows something like that?’ If it falls, I would be very surprised. One day you have to put it in the moderation.” Hartwich noted with a wink that he would have the show title on the back of his suit.

Things couldn’t be worse for Elton at the moment. Although he is (still) one of the most present celebrities on television, the presenter has now lost two shows within a short space of time: ProSieben initially threw him out of “Schlag den Star” because Elton’s many RTL jobs were a thorn in the station’s side. Ironically, RTL has now also canceled an Elton format.
