The trainč Nedjeljko Žuti Jerković hosted the opponents on the first day of this week’s ‘Večera for 5’. For his evening, he received 34 points and numerous praises, but also sincere criticism. Nikolina and Ljubo gave him eights, and Nina and Zoran gave the home team nines.

– The reason is that the peka was dry, everything was top notch, but the peka is dry. The assessment is honest and from the heart – concluded Ljubo.

– The main course was too dry, the dessert was excellent, the appetizer was ok, but nothing special – Zoran explained his nine.

He started the preparation of the dinner with the dessert ‘Overturned cake’.

– Maybe it would be something that goes together, something layered and then turned around to get a different order of ingredients – Nina explained her vision of the dessert. Soon, Nedjeljko explained that it is a cake from the past, with what our elders used to make from what they had in their homes. He made stuffed and baked apples with sponge cake as a dessert, and then turned to ‘Coloured anchovies’.

– Inćuni with vegetables, colored peppers – Nikolina predicted the appetizer. Finally, Nedjeljko turned to the main dish called ‘Under the lid’.

– Baking in progress – predicted Zoran. Baked veal and chicken are the last dishes the host accepts before the guests arrive.

After preparing the dinner, Nedjeljko turned to preparing for the team’s reception. The team met in the van – Zoran and Ljubo knew each other from before and were very happy for each other, and soon it became clear that Nina also knew the opposing candidates. Nikolina arrived last and got to know the team.

Zoran soon welcomed the team and offered them great aperitifs – sour cherry, walnut and travarica. On arrival, Ljubo broke the nervousness of the host.

– Nedjeljko was cordial, he welcomed us like a real host – commented the welcome Nina. Along with the aperitif, Nedjeljko also brought music to life.

– I have no words – Ljubo praised the team.

– The team is great, I think this will be a great week – concluded Nikolina.

This was followed by the appetizer – ‘Inćuni in colors’.

– The appetizer was visually perfect, ingenious, cute – revealed Nina.

– It really cheered us up at the beginning of the evening – added Nikolina.

– I was hoping that there would be something a little more concrete for the appetizer – Zoran also shared his opinion.

– Nedjeljko was excellent, he was elated, as if he had awakened the child in him. That was really nice for me – concluded Nina.

The main course arrived on the table next – veal and baked chicken.

– It was the most beautiful thing to see, when it goes from the fireplace to the table – Zoran was delighted.

– It was great – Nikolina added.

– The taste was excellent, although I guessed a bit dry piece of meat – commented Nina, and Zoran agreed with her comment.

The “overturned cake” came to an end, and the host soon discovered that he had made it for the first time in his life.

– The dessert looked the way I expected, he noted that it was an old recipe – commented Nina.

– I have never eaten such a cake, he made a fantastic cake. – concluded Zoran.

– Excellent dessert, delicious, soft biscuit – said Nikolina at the end.

Nedjeljko was a great host, and he also gave the team appropriate gifts – a bottle of wine and his monograph about the team of la&strokers from Rogotin.
