“In accordance with the infamous but cherished tradition of attacks on Poland, the European Parliament has adopted the draft of the evening debate on the “rule of law” in Poland: this time on the occasion of the establishment of the Russian Influence Commission, with a bang – there will also be a resolution on this matter.

Last Friday, the Sejm finally supported the establishment of a commission for examining Russian influence on the internal security of the Republic of Poland in the years 2007-2022. The adopted act was signed by President Andrzej Duda on Monday and was published in the Journal of Laws on Tuesday. It went into effect on Wednesday.
The idea of establishing the body – although it came from politicians of the Civic Platform – is strongly criticized by the opposition. Politicians accuse this issue of an attack aimed directly at Donald Tusk. They also claim that the act itself is unconstitutional.
