On the night of June 2, the Russians launched a combined attack on Kyiv. Ukrainian defenders destroyed more than 30 enemy drones and missiles.
This was announced by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) Serhii Popko in Telegram.
“The terror of Kyiv with air attacks continues. Desperate terrorists attack the capital almost non-stop. In the last 6 days, the Rashists have already carried out the 6th airstrike on the city! And each time the enemy changed weapons. After the ballistic missiles the day before, this time the attack was combined – drones and cruise missiles at the same time. – he noted.
The message also states that the missiles were launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian region, probably by Kh-101/555 cruise missiles.
Simultaneously, Kyiv was attacked from different directions by UAVs, according to preliminary data – barrage ammunition “Shahed”.
“According to preliminary information, more than 30 air targets of various types were detected and destroyed in the airspace above Kyiv and around Kyiv by air defense forces and means”Popko wrote.
He noted that the final data is being refined and will be communicated later.
There is no information about the destruction and victims.
