Gonzalo Rubalcaba will give a concert in Istanbul on April 25

Pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba will meet music lovers at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall on April 25.

According to the statement made by CRR, the musician, who has included 3 Grammy and 3 Latin Grammy awards in his career and records that are among the bestsellers of the jazz charts, will give a concert as part of his album tour.

At the concert, Rubalcaba will be accompanied by Matt Brewer on double bass and Ernesto Simpson on drums.

The artist, who won the Best Instrumental Jazz Album Grammy award in 2022 with his album “Skyline”, also received the Latin Grammy award for his album “Live In Marciac”, recorded with Aymee Nuviola in the same year.

In 2023, the artist formed a new trio called Trio D’ete and recorded the album “Turning Points”, which is the sequel to “Skyline”.
