In the film, Academy Award winner Malek will play American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, who is tasked with determining whether Nazi prisoners are mentally competent to be tried for war crimes.

The centerpiece of the film will be Kelley’s struggle with Adolf Hitler’s right-hand man Hermann Göring, played by Crowe.

Shannon will play Robert H. Jackson, the chief prosecutor of the Nuremberg Trials.

It was stated that Vanderbilt based the film’s script on Jack El-Hai’s book ‘The Nazi and the Psychiatrist’.

Shooting of the film will start in Hungary in February 2024.
