Hunting. Hülya Kuran was born in Çanakkale in 1972. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in his hometown Çanakkale, and then graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 1996.

Prof. completed his bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Dr. Selami Kuran received the titles of associate professor and professor while he was on the academic staff of Marmara University. Kuran, who is the Head of the Faculty’s Department of International Law, is also a lawyer registered with the Istanbul Bar Association. Founding Member of the German-Turkish Lawyers Association, Prof. Dr. Kuran is also a member of the German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Turkish-German Businessmen Association.
