The popular guide to the best dining establishments and the most delicious traditional dishes in the world, Taste Atlas, has published a list of the best national cuisines in the past year 2022. The rating was formed based on the results of the public vote.
The top three positions are occupied by Italian, Greek and Spanish cuisine. And the Norwegian was awarded the unenviable last place in the ranking.
Japanese and Indian cuisines are ranked fourth and fifth. Turkish cuisine is in 7th place, French in 9th. Chinese cuisine, the favorite of many people around the world, also performs traditionally well – in 11th position. Bulgarian cuisine is in 28th place, and in addition to Greek and Turkish cuisines, other Balkan neighbors are ahead of us – Croatia is in 17th place, Romania – in 22nd place, Serbia in 25th place. Macedonian cuisine is ranked 59th, and Russian – 58th. In total, 95 countries participate in the list.
Among the Bulgarian dishes and products, yogurt, cheese pie, shop salad, tarator, kavarma and lutenitsa are mentioned as the most liked.
