Al-Qassam Brigades publishes a new video of an Israeli prisoner attacking Netanyahu and his government Рolitics

Today, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, published a video recording of one of its Israeli prisoners denouncing the “neglect” of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government for the prisoners in the Gaza Strip, and demanding that it work for their release.

This coincides with the passage of more than 200 days since the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, in reference to a surprise attack launched by Palestinian factions on settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, with the aim of “ending the unjust siege on Gaza and thwarting Israel’s plans to liquidate the Palestinian cause and impose Its sovereignty over Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

At the beginning of the video clip that Al-Qassam published on its Telegram platform, Israeli prisoner Hersh Goldberg Bolin (24 years old) narrates the story of his captivity during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle.

He said that he went with a number of his friends to a party in the Gaza Strip area to entertain themselves, before the faction attack occurred, and he found himself struggling for his life with serious injuries throughout his body.

The prisoner, who appears to have one of his arms amputated, addressed Netanyahu and his government, telling them: “You should be ashamed of yourselves because you neglected us along with thousands of other citizens” on October 7.

He added: “They should be ashamed because all the army’s efforts (to release the prisoners) failed, and the (Israeli) Air Force attacks even caused the death of 70 detainees like me.”

He added: “You should be ashamed because you rejected all the deals that were offered to you (for a ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners).”

Bolin accused Netanyahu and members of his government of “neglecting” the issue of Israeli prisoners in Gaza, saying: “While you hold lunch parties with your families, think about us, the detainees in underground hell, without water, food, or sun, and without the treatment I need for a long time.” “.

He added: “Every day that we are here means that you ignore us more and more, and ignore our blood.”

He continued: “I ask you, the Prime Minister, your government, and the cabinet (the mini-cabinet) to do what is expected of you, and return us to our homes immediately, or has this become too much for you?”

He added, demanding that Netanyahu and members of his government step down from their positions: “The time has come to hand over the keys and vacate the ministries, and sit in your homes.”

With the mediation of Qatar, Egypt and the United States, the Palestinian factions in Gaza and Israel have been conducting faltering indirect negotiations for months to reach an agreement to exchange prisoners and ceasefire in the war that broke out on October 7, 2023.

Tel Aviv holds at least 9,500 Palestinians in its prisons, and estimates that there are about 134 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, while Hamas announced that 70 of them were killed in random Israeli raids.
