Live NH Sport: talents from AZ and Ajax take their turn Sport

In the first division, the floor will be given to the Young teams of AZ and Ajax tonight. Both teams take action. In contrast to Telstar, which only plays the away match against FC Eindhoven on Sunday. Jong Ajax receives a visit from top team Roda JC, while Jong AZ meets TOP Oss in North Brabant. You can follow both matches live on NH Radio tonight at 7 p.m.

Jong Ajax’s results have been very variable this season. Last week, coach Dave Vos’ team retired after a weak first half Down 3-1 at Helmond Sportwhile four days earlier won against SC Cambuur (2-1). Of course, a lot has to do with the changing composition of the team.

Whether number fourteen in the rankings can provide enough resistance to number two also depends on what the selection looks like. Ajax 1 will not be in action this weekend, so there is the possibility of including a number of players from the A-selection at Jong Ajax.

Old-Sheikh

Earlier this season, Roda JC defeated Jong Ajax 2-1 in Kerkrade. The winning goal was scored by Walid-Ould-Chikh. The loanee from FC Volendam is having a strong season in which he scored no fewer than twelve goals. The midfielder recently indicated in an interview that he wants to continue his career at a higher level. He thinks the chance that this will be at Roda JC or FC Volendam is small.

The kick-off at De Toekomst sports park is at 8 p.m. You hear Frank van der Meijden.

Jong AZ is having a historic season. Never before have the Alkmaar promises scored so many points in one football season. After the impressive 2-1 victory over VVV-Venlo the counter is at 52 points and there are still three games to play.

Trainer Leeroy Echteld is chasing the next three-pointer against TOP Oss tonight. Based on the rankings, a new success is obvious: TOP is only eighteenth, although the results of the people from Brabant have been somewhat better in recent weeks.

Big difference: home-away

The youngsters from Alkmaar do not perform as well outside Wijdewomer as on their own field: the last five trips by bus yielded only two points for the number seven of the first division.

Outdoors, Jong AZ only played fourteen points in total, good for sixteenth place in the first division. It should be noted that Jong AZ played eleven of the eighteen home games on Monday evening. Of the seventeen away games, only two were played on Monday evening. On Monday evenings, trainers of Young Teams can call on players from the A-selection much more often than on Fridays.

TOP Oss – Jong AZ also starts at 8 p.m. You will receive the report from Stephan Brandhorst. NH Sport is available from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Presentation: Robbert van den Heuvel.
