Kentucky man sentenced to more than 24 years in prison for child pornography

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Stanford man was sentenced to 292 months in prison Monday for engaging in sexual conduct with a minor and producing child pornography.

Sean Ryan Reardon, 30, of Stanford, pleaded guilty in February to enticing a minor to participate in sexually explicit conduct with the intent of producing child pornography.

According to his plea agreement, Reardon met a minor in the Fall of 2019 and, early in 2020, began communicating with them over Snapchat. He admitted to having sexual contact with the individual at his home and other locations from July 2021 to March 2022. He also confirmed to have taken pictures and videos of the sexual activity.

Reardon also said he and the individual exchanged sexually explicit visuals over Snapchat and Google Duo.

Under federal law, Reardon must serve 85% of his prison sentence.
