A homicide investigation is underway in North Little Rock after an overnight shooting left one person dead at an apartment complex. 

At about 11:51 p.m. last night, North Little Rock officers responded to the Hemlock Courts Apartments at 400 Palm St. and found a male victim lying in the parking lot with at least one gunshot wound, according to a report from the police department. The male victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The department has asked anyone with information to contact the North Little Rock Police Department Tip Line at 501-680-8439 or Detective Jones at 501-771-7151. Callers can remain anonymous.
