UNION BERLIN Nenada Bjelica is on a streak of three defeats and is in 14th place in the Bundesliga. Bjeliča’s club has two points more than Mainz and Bochum, or five more than Köln, which is second to last. Darmstadt has 17 points and is almost a sure traveler to the second division. Bild writes that the Croatian coach got mad at his players because they did not meet his demands in training. “This is bullshit, nothing, zero. We are embarrassing ourselves. This is nothing,” shouted the Croatian coach, and his captain Christopher Trimmel explained to Bild what the whole situation looked like:

“There were several rules in practice that we had to adopt. One team didn’t fully understand it. Then we got too lost and there was no more fluidity in the game. That’s why he yelled at us.” Bjelica is doing everything to wake up his team, which has not won in the last four games. The last two teams are relegated to the second league, and on the 16th they will go to the play-off to stay against the third team of the 2nd Bundesliga.
The fight to stay
Union Berlin has four more games until the end of the season. Bjelica’s squad will play after Gladbach against Bochum (home), Cologne (away) and Freiburg (home), which means they will have two direct clashes with clubs that are also fighting to stay in the Bundesliga.
