The iconic series of the romantic comedy genre, Bridget Jones is getting ready to appear before the audience again. Adapted from Helen Fielding’s novels of the same name, the series will be on the big screen years later with the movie “Bridget Jones 4: Mad About the Boy”.
“VERY GOOD SCRIPT”
Returning to the series with Renée Zellweger Hugh Grant, talked about the movie. Speaking to People, Grant said:
“The script is partly based on Helen Fielding’s experiences raising her two children alone after the death of her husband. Bridget is also raising two children and wondering whether she should start seeing people again. It’s a very good script.”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the master actor said, “Let me tell you this; I think this script written for the 4th Bridget movie is the best among the 4. In fact, it is one of the best scripts I have read in a long time.”
Hiwetel Ejiofor, Emma Thompson and Leo Woodall will also star in the film, which will be directed by Michael Morris.
The movie “Bridget Jones 4: Mad About the Boy”, which will meet the audience after eight years, will be released in cinemas worldwide on February 14, 2025.
