Some chargers use almost no current. Of course, when they are not performing their function. But when we turn on several devices at the same time, a consumption of 0.3 watts is registered. According to this calculation, 7 chargers left on after charging per year use 2,628 kilowatts of current.
Of course, even though they don’t use much current, it would be a good idea to turn them off after charging, both for security reasons and to save electricity.
Some previous research has shown that a city of 100,000 people could be powered for a month if all the chargers were turned off after charging.
