The Israeli occupation army announced this evening, Friday, November 3, 2023, the evacuation of about 260 wounded soldiers from the Gaza Strip in about 150 air and ground rescue operations, to hospitals in Israel.
The Israeli army said in a tweet on the “X” platform: “Since the beginning of the fighting, soldiers from Unit 669, the special tactical rescue unit, medical teams and Air Force helicopter squadrons, have been working under fire deep in the Gaza Strip to rescue our soldiers and provide them with medical treatment.”
He added: “So far, about 260 wounded soldiers have been transferred to hospitals in Israel, as part of 150 air and ground rescue operations in cooperation with the ground forces and elite units of the Israeli army.”
He continued: “Unit 669’s mobile teams provide primary medical care and rescue soldiers from the Gaza Strip.”
He pointed out, “Specialized teams evacuate the wounded from the area and are joined by teams that are dropped at different points, which shortens the evacuation time and saves human lives.”
The Israeli army announced the killing of 25 soldiers since the start of the Israeli ground operation in Gaza about a week ago.
