48-year-old American actress Christina Hendricks, famous for her role as Joan Holloway in the TV series Mad Men, married cameraman George Bianchini on April 20 in New Orleans, and has now shown the first photo from the wedding. She published it on her page on the social network.

The look was completed with an old-fashioned veil with a lace cap on her long red curls and two silver-gray bows, matching the vintage nature of the event.
Bianchini, a cinematographer known for his work on TV’s “The Peripheral” and “The Right Stuff,” looked handsome in a burgundy and cream plaid suit and pink button-down shirt.
“On Saturday, April 20, 2024, I married George Bianchini. It was the most wonderful weekend of my life. Thank you to all our friends and family for joining us,” the actress said.
The couple exchanged vows at Napoleon House in the French Quarter. This place got its name because it was once the refuge of Napoleon Bonaparte during his expulsion from France.
The ceremony was performed by Garbage lead singer Shirley Manson, and the couple exchanged vows.
Mad Men creator Matt Weiner, Good Girls co-stars Retta and Mae Whitman, and designer Christian Siriano were among the 76 guests invited to the celebration.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds continued the New Orleans tradition of the second line, leading their guests in a jazz parade through the streets with umbrellas. As for the reception, guests were served gourmet food including steak, shrimp and grits, and muffuletta for a late-night snack.
Instead of a wedding cake, they opted for a personalized Banana Foster, flambéed for each guest right at the table. Bananas Foster is the actress’s favorite dessert.
Hendrix and Bianchini met on the set of the crime drama Good Girls, where Christina played in 2018-2021. They started dating in 2020, and three years later, they got engaged.
The choice of New Orleans for the wedding was not accidental.
“It just feels like our city is together, even though we both liked it separately,” the actress explained.
