Help for Ukraine from the United States - Ukrainians face setbacks at the front in the coming weeks War in Ukraine news

Opponents may try to take advantage of the limited window of opportunity before aid from the United States arrives in the Ukrainian state, Western analysts believe.

Until new US assistance is provided to Ukraine, the Ukrainian state faces setbacks at the front.

According to analysts at the US Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the situation at the front could continue to deteriorate, especially if the Russian occupiers intensify attacks to take advantage of the limited window of opportunity before American help arrives.

“Ukrainian forces may suffer additional setbacks in the coming weeks while awaiting U.S. security assistance that will allow Ukraine to stabilize the front, but they will likely be able to contain the current Russian offensive if renewed U.S. assistance comes quickly,” the Institute said in a recent report.

Analysts believe that, most likely, new aid to Ukraine from the United States will not begin to affect the situation at the front for several weeks.
