Shelling of Balakleya station

On April 25, during an air raid, Russian occupation forces struck Balakleya in the Kharkov region. Chairman of the Kharkov Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov noted that all necessary services are working at the scene of the incident to eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling. It was immediately known that at least seven people were injured.

Subsequently, the number of victims increased to 11. According to information from the relevant services, at the time of the shelling, all the victims were in the passenger cars of the Kharkov-Izyum electric train during a stop at the Balakleya station.

The prosecutor’s office clarified that the Russians fired an Iskander-M missile with a fragmentation warhead, which exploded in the air. Therefore, investigators are confident that these actions were aimed at a large number of civilian casualties.

Let us remind you that on April 26, Belgorod authorities accused Ukrainian troops of attacking the city. The Russian Ministry of Defense said that last night an attempt by Ukrainian troops to attack targets on Russian territory was stopped.
