Sullivan did not name the specific number of missiles that Washington plans to supply to Ukraine.

The United States of America will continue to supply ATACMS tactical missiles to Ukraine. This statement was made by US Presidential National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.

“As I said in my opening remarks, we have already sent several (ATACMS missiles – ed.), and now that we have additional authority and capabilities, we will send more,” he said during the briefing.

However, he did not name the specific number of missiles that Washington plans to supply to Ukraine.

Sullivan noted that several weeks ago, US President Joe Biden already ordered the transfer of a significant number of long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine. The missiles were released after Russia used North Korean ballistic missiles to attack Ukrainian territory and also increased attacks on civilian infrastructure.

The agency writes that in recent weeks Washington has secretly supplied Kyiv with ATACMS missiles to fight Russian invaders. The Ukrainian military first used them last week to attack an airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea.

In addition, these missiles were included in the aid package for Ukraine signed by US President Joe Biden. This was confirmed by Vladimir Zelensky.

Director of the information and consulting company Defense Express Sergei Zgurets noted that the priority targets for attack by ATACMS missiles with a range of 300 km are enemy command posts and occupiers’ ammunition storage bases.
