Today is exactly one month since Danka’s disappearance, and the duo still won’t say where the body of the girl they admitted to killing after hitting her with a car is. The whole case is full of mysterious details, and Dalibor Dragijevi recently died in custody in a suspicious manner. (40), brother of the suspect for the girl’s murder. As reported by the Serbian media, Dalibor died of a violent death, and not because he fell ill, as the MUP first announced. The inspectors lied to his lawyer when he asked about the client, whom they suspected of helping to hide the girl’s body together with his father. Some Serbian media reported that Dalibor was beaten by the police on the night between Saturday and Sunday. The autopsy also showed that he had visible injuries and bruises and it is unlikely that he died of a heart attack.

Creepy details

Srđan Janković (50) and Dejan Dragijević (50) admitted that they hit the girl with an official car of Vodovod from Bor. Both were employed there. They claimed that they threw her body in a garbage dump. But Dragijević after that he said that he returned to the landfill and moved the body and that his brother and father helped him in this. But the girl’s body has not yet been found. For days, Serbian policemen, firefighters, HGSS members and volunteers searched the area where they suspected Danka’s body to be, but without results. At the beginning, before the workers had surrendered, Danka’s mother and father were at the police for a polygraph. Recently, they were questioned again, separately, first the mother and then the father.

Why did he confess and not say where the body is?

Then the mother revealed a new detail to the inspectors, that on that day she allegedly saw the suspects hanging around the fence and doing something there. As reported by the Serbian media, he specializes in hundreds of traces from and from the vehicle. Among those traces is blood, which they confirmed belonged to the missing girl and which the suspects tried to clean, but failed. Dragijević admitted that he strangled the girl who was still alive with his own hands after Janković bumped into her with an official car. Even if the body is not found, a guilty verdict can be reached. Key to this will be evidence, traces of blood and DNA, which, if linked to the perpetrators, can lead to a verdict of murder. One of the key pieces of evidence could be the GPS in the official car with which the Dragijevi hit the girl. and Janković that day. He shows how on March 26, they stopped 150 meters from the yard where Ivana Ilić was with her children.

They also found that they were at the landfill where they stayed for one minute and 41 seconds. A creepy detail is that Danka’s father stopped the two and asked them if they had seen her, to which they said they had not. The investigators suspect that at that moment the little girl was in the trunk of their car. Dragijev and Jankovi took polygraph tests a total of 15 times, both of them failed, only on different questions. It is still not clear to the investigators why Dragijević admitted that he killed the girl and that he was moving the body, but did not say where the body was.
