In Brazil, a disturbing incident unfolded as a woman attempted to secure a loan on behalf of her deceased uncle, wheeling his body into the bank.

Yesterday, Erika de Souza Vieira Nunez entered a Rio de Janeiro bank, seeking a loan for her late relative, 68-year-old Paulo Roberto Braga. Requesting 17 thousand Brazilian reais (approximately 309 thousand rubles), her behavior caught the attention of bank staff. They questioned the pallor of her uncle and promptly called for medical assistance, suspecting foul play.

Throughout the ordeal, Erika feigned conversation with her deceased uncle, urging him to sign documents.

Captured on video, she holds the pensioner’s head, imploring,

“Uncle, are you listening? Sign here and stop giving me headaches.”

Placing a pen in his lifeless hand, she attempts to complete the paperwork on his behalf.

Emergency services confirmed the uncle’s passing prior to arrival. Subsequently, Erika was apprehended, and authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, as well as identifying other family members involved.
