Often, summer residents who leave seamings in the cellar for the winter face a problem.

The lids of the containers in which the workpieces are stored begin to rust. The taste of seamings does not deteriorate from this.

But summer residents still use a little trick that helps solve this problem.

High humidity is a key reason why can lids rust. If they are stored in the basement, then it will not be possible to quickly get rid of the cause.

First of all, you need to ensure good ventilation. However, if there is no way to solve this problem right away, there is a little trick.

To do this, each jar is placed in a separate disposable bag. Thanks to this, the cover will not rust even after a long time.

However, it should be borne in mind that if rust has formed on the inside of the lid, then it is better not to eat the workpiece. If this happens, then the cover is most likely made of low-quality material.
