The second suspect in the Sibiu crime case, in which businessman Adrian Kreiner was the victim, will be extradited. The man agreed to be brought to the country.

The Minister of Justice, Alina Gorghiu, declared that at the Friday deadline from a court in Ireland, one of the suspects in the Sibiu crime case, Marian Cristian Minae, agreed to be extradited.

“We are starting the procedures from Monday, we will be very careful that the whole procedure goes smoothly”, declared Gorghiu.

Another suspect confessed to the crime and has been in custody for about four months. Ghiță Laurențiu was extradited from Scotland and brought to Romania on December 30, 2023.

The third suspect, Cosmin Zuleam, is still wanted. The police have several leads, one of which is that he left for Western Europe or that he would have arrived in the USA. Efforts are being made for him to be found and brought to the country.

At the beginning of November, the businessman Adrian Kreiner was beaten and robbed in his villa in Sibiu by three men wearing hoods. The businessman died at the hospital a day after the incident
