Chema Martínez calls to recover and improve markets

Chema Martínez, candidate for mayor of Guadalajara for the “Let’s Keep Making History in Jalisco” alliance, visited the traditional Felipe Ángeles market yesterday, with the aim of establishing a direct dialogue with merchants and promoting his vision of a city for the Tapatia Pearl.

Before hundreds of residents who gathered to express their concerns, the standard bearer of the coalition between Morena, PVEM, PT, Futuro and Hagamos heard various demands, including the urgency of a change in Guadalajara due to the abandonment in which, according to the merchants, Citizen Movement has immersed itself in the markets.

Merchants too They highlighted the need to address issues such as waste management, safety and, especially, the maintenance and revitalization of commercial spaces.

Chema Martínez recognized the importance of markets as fundamental elements of the identity and local economy of Guadalajara. He emphasized the need not to neglect these spaces and to work together with the tenants.
