The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, played on Wednesday in a match for charity, together with former glories of French and world football, managing to convert a shot from 11 meters, informs the press of Hexagon, quoted by Agerpres.

The respective match, organized by Variete Club de France (VCF) and dedicated to supporting the operation “Pieces jaunes”, sponsored by the wife of the French president, Brigitte Macron, took place in Plaisir, in the Ile-de region – France.

Emmanuel Macron played for the VCF Vendroux team, with the number 3 on his back, alongside Marcel Desailly, Didier Deschamps, Didier Drogba, Laurent Blanc and Eden Hazard, among others. Their opponent was a team trained by the famous French technician Arsene Wenger, which included stars such as Samuel Eto’o, El Hadji Diouf and Daniel van Buyten.

The French president’s team prevailed in the end with a score of 5-3, thanks to a hat-trick achieved by Robert Pires in the first half and a penalty converted by Macron himself in the second half.

The match allowed the collection of 57,500 euros for the benefit of the “Pieces jaunes” operation, which aims to improve the hospitalization conditions of children and adolescents.
