Intense clashes with artillery and drones, as well as restrictions for journalists on both sides along the 1,000-kilometer long front, have made the war in Ukraine very dangerous and difficult for journalists to work on.

At least 15 journalists have been killed in the war in Ukraine since the Russian invasion began in February 2022, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists, a non-profit organization that advocates for media freedom around the world.
