Super E10 and diesel are becoming cheaper – this variety especially

After last week’s record values, prices at gas stations are falling significantly – at least for one type of fuel.

Drivers can breathe a slight sigh of relief: fuel prices have fallen noticeably compared to the previous week. According to an analysis by the ADAC, a liter of Super E10 currently costs 1.848 euros on average nationwide, 1.8 cents less than a week ago. This means that the price of gasoline has fallen for the first time in several weeks. The price of diesel has fallen even more significantly, namely 3.5 cents: a liter costs 1.71 euros.

According to the ADAC, the falling prices also have to do with the slight relaxation in the Middle East – and thus also with the lower oil price: Brent crude oil cost over 90 US dollars last week, now it is around 88 dollars. And the exchange rate between euros and US dollars is somewhat more stable, which also makes fuel cheaper.
