During the past week, a plane with the French musician and composer Jean Michel Jarre on board landed at the Piešťany airport.

“A pioneer in electronic music, who sold over 80 million albums and singles during his career, flew to Slovakia as part of his work program,” the county informed.

Jean Michel Jarre is also the holder of an incredible record, which is entered in the Guinness Book of Records. He won it for the biggest concert that took place in Moscow in 1997 and was attended by 3.5 million spectators.

He came to Slovakia because of the upcoming Starmus international festival, which he will open with a unique concert together with the guest, Queen guitarist Brian May. The opening concert will be free for the public. It will be held on May 12 in the area of ​​the Incheba exhibition center near the SNP Bridge.

He also used his visit to Slovakia to try out a unique Slovak flying car from the AirCar company. As he himself said, it was a big day for him. “It was an honor to fly in the first flying car,” he boasted on the social network.
