Prince Jacques, who will one day take the throne of the Principality of Monaco, appeared at a tennis tournament with his parents. The whole family chose similar outfits.

Prince Albert, Princess Charlene and their 9-year-old son Prince Jacques appeared at the Monte Carlo Tennis Masters tournament. Presenting a united front, the princely couple chose identical outfits. But for some unknown reason, Jacques’ twin sister, Princess Gabriella, was not at the event. The Daily Mail writes about this.

In one stylish moment, the family were pictured wearing trendy sunglasses as they watched Norway’s Kasper Ruud take on Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final at Monte Carlo Country Club.

Former Olympian Charlene opted for a double-breasted navy blazer, white trousers and a light blue shirt.

It was their first public outing since reports emerged that Prince Rainier III of Monaco, before his death, had begun plans to remove his son Albert from the line of succession in favor of his sister, Princess Caroline.

Rainier, according to the tabloids, sought legal advice in the late 1990s about how the line of succession would continue if the heir apparent, Prince Albert, was replaced in favor of his older sister Princess Caroline.

French newspaper Le Monde reports that Claude Palmero, the man in charge of the palace’s finances for more than two decades until he was fired last summer, has confirmed rumors that Prince Rainier was considering changing inheritance laws.

Earlier, Claude spoke about exorbitant spending in the palace. It emerged that Charlene was hiring illegal immigrants for less than €100 a day to work for her, even as her personal expenses soared to £1 million a year.

According to Palermo’s records, illegal migrants made up the majority of Charlene’s eight-person staff, and the accountant had expressed concern about this. But despite this, he allocated almost £600,000 to celebrate the births and baptisms of children.

The Princess of Monaco also spent almost a million euros on renovating her villa in Calvi on the island of Corsica, and the same amount on decorating her office in Monte Carlo.
