According to law enforcement agencies, at night the invaders dropped UMPB D-30SM aerial bombs on Selidovo, which led to damage to private houses. The enemy also actively used artillery and S-300 anti-aircraft missiles.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces have carried out 1,691 strikes in the Donetsk region, resulting in two civilian deaths and another injury. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

Eight settlements in the Donetsk region were subjected to the greatest shelling:

  • Krasnogorovka;
  • Novogrodovka;
  • Selidovo;
  • Ukrainsk;
  • the villages of Ostroye and Kurakhovka;
  • the villages of Galitsinovka and Novoaleksandrovka.

“As a result of artillery shelling in Krasnogorovka, a woman was killed and a private house was damaged. Another civilian was killed by Russian troops in Novoaleksandrovka,” the message says.

The National Police clarified that the enemy dropped air bombs and shelled Ukrainian cities using the S-300 air defense system and other artillery.

“27 civilian facilities were damaged – 11 residential buildings, industrial facilities, and an educational institution,” the police noted.

Law enforcement officers also reported that at about 4:20 on the night of April 23, the invaders dropped UMPB D-30 SM aerial bombs on Selidovo.

“At least 11 private houses, a garage and a car were destroyed. There were no reports of casualties,” the press service said.

Let us remind you that Russian occupiers attacked peaceful cities of Ukraine on the night of April 23. The enemy used both drones and missiles during the attacks. According to the Air Force, the enemy launched 16 attack drones across Ukraine and almost all of them were intercepted within four regions. Explosions also occurred in the capital.

On April 22, during an air raid raid in Kharkov, Russian occupiers attacked the city’s television infrastructure. The head of the Kharkov regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, said that as a result of the shelling of the television tower, there were interruptions in the digital television signal. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said the strike occurred just before his conversation with US President Joe Biden.
