Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky visited Dnepr, where he was informed of eight deaths as a result of a Russian missile attack on the region. As noted in the message on the website of the head of state, Zelensky in Dnipro inspected a five-story building damaged as a result of a massive night rocket attack.

The President was informed that the consequences of the strike had been eliminated; two floors of the house were completely destroyed. Neighboring buildings and the train station were also damaged. Two psychological assistance points were set up for people on site.

Zelensky spoke with rescuers who are still eliminating the consequences of the Russian shelling, and thanked them and everyone who helped the victims.

“As a result of the Russian attack in the Dnieper region, eight people were killed. The head of the OVA, Sergei Lysak, reported this to the head of state during a security meeting,” the message says.

Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov said that the construction of the main water pipeline in the Dnepropetrovsk region was completed after the Russian occupiers blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station dam.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Rostislav Shurma presented the possibilities of decentralizing energy supply to the region. There was also talk about providing hospitals with alternative heating sources.

As UNIAN reported, on the night of April 19, Russian occupiers attacked the Dnepropetrovsk region with missiles. The city of Dnieper was also under fire. As a result of the impact, a five-story building was partially destroyed and a fire started.

In Pavlograd, one of the enterprises was damaged, and in Krivoy Rog, an infrastructure facility was damaged. There were three wounded in Krivoy Rog.

Previously, it was also reported that three children died in the Sinelnikov region: a 14-year-old girl and two boys – 6 and 8 years old. But later it became known that doctors managed to save the 6-year-old boy.

Subsequently, Lysak reported that rescuers pulled out the body of a woman from under the rubble of a house in the Dnieper. They are looking for another person. “Now, according to updated information, in the region as a whole there are 7 dead. And 35 injured,” he noted.
