Now she has established a sister association in Denmark with the name Dream Children’s Home Denmark, which aims to raise money for the 96 children living in the Kenyan orphanage.

– I have become so attached to the children and the staff who are down there. I love being there. That’s why I also want to help them, even if I can’t be in Kenya all the time. So now I can do something from home, says Feline Frerst.

The money that the association collects will, among other things, go to help the children get into high school, get new school uniforms and a new school building.

Sponsorships help the children

During her time in Kenya, Feline Frerst has experienced how good experiences make a big difference for the children.

– They still talk about the time we rented a bouncy castle or when we bought 30 chickens, she says.
