Why high-ranking Kadyrovtsy “ran into” Prigozhin.
The attack of high-ranking Kadyrovites on Prigozhin is a very important turn. Three thoughts on this.
Firstly, only one person could give the corresponding order to Kadyrov – Putin.
That is, Putin can no longer pretend that everything is fine with Prigozhin and that he obeys the Kremlin. Those who obey Daudov and Delimkhanov do not write threats in the telegram.
Secondly, in their speeches, the Kadyrovites voiced the main claims of the Kremlin: Prigozhin’s withdrawal from subordination, frenzied media activity and the growth of personal popularity.
Putin is categorically dissatisfied with the appearance of a potential rival.
Thirdly, the choice of these people to attack means that in case of refusal to obey, the liquidation of Prigozhin will be entrusted to the Kadyrovites. This is so that he does not hope for arrest or trial – they will kill him where they can and at the first opportunity.
Now Prigozhin has two options – to completely curtail his election campaign and return to the position of the silent instrument of the Kremlin, or to go into open conflict with the Kadyrovites (and, accordingly, the Kremlin).
It’s very interesting what he chooses.
