How to prepare a simple tomato salad that will be tasty and filling at the same time?
Famous Ukrainian chef Yevhenii Klopotenko shared on his blog with a simple tomato and tofu salad that you can make all summer long and you definitely won’t get bored of it.
This dish is prepared very quickly and will become a real favorite this summer.
Which the ingredients need to take:
- 100-120 g of cherry tomatoes;
- 100 g of raw tofu;
- 1/2 chili pepper;
- 100 g of roasted peanuts;
- 10 sprigs of cilantro;
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil;
- juice of half a lemon;
- salt to taste.
Simple tomato salad: a step-by-step recipe
- Wash the cherry tomatoes thoroughly and cut them in half to make circles. You can use ordinary tomatoes, but make sure that they are small.
- Take about 10 sprigs of cilantro, wash, separate the leaves from the stems and finely chop with a knife.
- Cut the tofu into small cubes (about 1 cm), and carefully remove the seeds from half the chili pepper and finely chop it.
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl, pour olive oil.
Do not forget to add roasted peanuts to the salad, which will give the dish a nice crunch, juice of half a lemon and salt.
